HID Global Poly Tag passive non-contact LF RFID transponders deliver reliable performance in a cost-effective enclosure that withstands harsh conditions. Each heavy-duty disc is waterproof, highly resistant to chemicals and impact, and withstands peak temperatures up to 266°F (130°C).

Encased in a field-proven, high-impact PA6 nylon thermoplastic shell, the tags absorb the daily shocks and jolts of industrial environments while protecting the electronics inside to ensure consistent communication with LF RFID readers and reliable performance in automation and manufacturing applications.

LF RFID Poly Tag discs perform best when adhered to plastic or wood surfaces. With up to 2048 bits of read-write data storage available, they offer reliable, cost-effective tagging for proximity reader applications.

The HF Poly Tag disc offers anti-collision technology for faster data processing, higher user memory and an improved read range over LF discs. Chip options for NFC or HID Trusted Tag® are available to implement secure "proof of presence" applications such as security rounds or maintenance checks using standard NFC phones as readers.

Yellow Poly-Tag versions are flame resistant to UL 94 V-0 and are available with ATEX/IECEX certifications for use in potentially explosive mine, gas and dust environments. The blank yellow version can be laser engraved according to customer's certificates if required.
